Abstract

The problem matter of the activity of the contemporary young generation is discussed and also the guidelines resulting from this for the teacher-mentor. In the present time when in our society important changes of both economic and social nature are being undertaken, of special importance is the attitude of the young people, their social involvement and their desire to join in the work of the particular institutions, groups and societies. The attitude of the young people (their personal aims in life, preferred values, political consciousness, ideological awareness, interests and hobbies for leisure time) are discussed basing on research carried out in the nineteen eighties.
