| Abstrakt: | The complicated history of Cieszyn Silesia in the 19th and 20th centuries has been described in personal documents, including the diaries of teachers Jan Kubisz, Jan Żebrok, and Jan Szuścik. In addition to autobiographies, these sources present sociocultural, educational and political events in this region. This study is focused on selected contents of the diaries and their signifi cance in presenting the historical context and the teachers’ work. |
